Amateur Radio - G3MEHAt my present home in Wigginton I've been fortunate in gaining full planning permission for a 16m telescopic mast.
The mast The vertical antennas off the side of the main mast are the 145MHz full wave dipoles used for GB2RS on 145.525MHz FM at midday on Sundays.
The VHF/UHF antennas 2003 The lowest and next to top positions, with 144MHz Wimo 10el yagis in place, are time-shared with 70MHz and 50MHz antennas.
2004, with 70MHz antennas in place The 70MHz 5 element yagi aerials are home made, designed with QY4 CAD, thanks to RaiBeam
The VHF 'view' from my aerials as predicted by G4JNT's software. The effect of the Chilterns ridge is easily seen. A suite of DOS programs by Andy Talbot, G4JNT, is available for download via the RSGB VHF Contests Committee website.
